X-Factor v1 #39, 1989 - Continued from X-men #243, the Inferno storyline comes to a close. Both teams reel from a blast by Mister Sinister, who takes Jean Grey hostage. Walt Simonson ends his lengthy run on the series, but his pencils are marred by Al Milgrom's inks. The deviations make many panels less recognizable. Simonson's final cover is better, but just barely.
