His artwork and writing come together, creating one of his finest works of the golden age. While devoid of splash pages, each panel is lovingly detailed. Even Barks' cover design is almost perfectly composed and balanced. "In Anceint Persia" was later reprinted in Donald Duck #228 and Walt Disney Comics Digest #44. This is 13 of 43 Donald Duck issues by Barks.
