Walt Disney's Comics and Stories v1 #170, 1954 - When Huey, Louie and Dewey buy an ant farm for educational purposes, what could go wrong? Plenty if the ants are wood borers and your uncle is Donald Duck.
Carl Barks' cover is better in concept than execution, although unrelated to the interior story. Barks dreams up a few amusing scenarios as the ants escape and go on a rampage. His depiction of Donald's varying expressions is masterful. This story was later reprinted in
Walt Disney Comics Digest #29 and
Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #472. Other artists in this issue include Paul Murry. This is 130 of 280
