Happy Comics #24 |
Happy Comics v1 #24, 1948 - Frank Frazetta lends his talents to two text stories, one of a horse ashamed of his color and the other a pig who has a desire to stay clean. The former lacks the artist's initials and is generally simpler in style and execution. The latter tale is more typically detailed. Both are well drawn and expressive, especially compared to a third text story not illustrated by the artist. Other artists in this golden age comic include Jack Bradbury. This is 5 of 18 Happy Comics issues by Frazetta.
