The World Around Us #18 / Great Scientists - Al Williamson art

The World Around Us v1 #18 / The Illustrated Story of Great Scientists, 1960Al Williamson teams up with Reed Crandall to chronicle the seminal discoveries of Galileo. The layouts are commendable but the artwork, as a whole, is merely adequate. Williamson's pencils are mostly overwhelmed by the inks. In most of the panels, his style is barely recognizable. Other artists in this issue include Gray Morrow, Angelo Torres and Sam Glanzman. This is 2 of 3 World Around Us issues by Williamson.
