Sargon the Sorcerer makes his first appearance since the golden age, aiding the JLA in fighting the Starbreaker. Well known for his bronze age horror covers, Adams brings the same sensibilities to this super-hero title. Simple but effective, the drawing competes with other elements on the page. This 52-page issue also reprints Sargon and Starman tales from the golden age. Other artists in this bronze age comic include Dick Dillin and Joe Giella.
