Silver Surfer v3 #6, 1987 - The second Kree-Skrull War begins, inevitably pulling the Surfer and Mantis into the conflict. Marshall Rogers' portrait-heavy cover design is more interesting than usual, but still far from his best work. Inside, the artist opens with an explosive splash page of an intergalactic battle. Some layouts and sequences are better than others, but all pages have an impressive level of texture and detail.
