Witzend v1 #9, 1973 - Co-titled The W.C. Fields Book, this edition is packed with articles and photographs of the comedian and actor. Jeff Jones provides the painted cover: a portrait in a monochromatic palette. While nicely executed, I would have preferred he utilized more color. Jones is an exceptional colorist as well as draftsman, evidenced by his work on Warren magazine covers. This is 2 of 2 Witzend issues by Jones.
