Fantastic Four v1 #3, 1962 - Unbelievably powerful, the Miracle Man (making his first appearance) defeats armies with a mere wave of his hand. The newly costumed heroes confront him with debuting their Fantasti-car. Jack Kirby's drawings are largely mediocre, made worse by Sol Brodsky's sloppy inking. The page layouts are also disappointing, appearing more rushed than carefully planned. Only Kirby's cover reflects the artist's usual aesthetic. Written by Stan Lee, this is 3 of 116 Fantastic Four issues by Kirby. /// key 1st appearance Miracle Man- - - - - - - - - -
