1994 #14 |
1994 magazine v1 #14, 1980 - Through advanced technology, parents-to-be Paul and Molly increase their baby's intelligence while still in the womb.
Alex Nino continues to explore new layouts and sequences. His drawings are eclectic, but consistent with the series' mature science fiction theme. One negative aspect of the work is that his multi-layered imagery often borders on confusion. Other artists in this bronze age science fiction magazine include Frank Thorne and Jose Ortiz. Can't believe Niño got away with that outrageous detail in the bottom right corner!
Both 1984 and 1994 were sci-fi magazines, definitely adult-themed, but overall still tame by today's standards.
