Bold Adventure #2 - Alex Nino art

Bold Adventure v1 #2 presents Time Force, 1984 - A botched CIA mission has Colonel Fortune running for his life. Escaping to London, this special forces agent seeks answers from both the US and British governments. Drawn to fit within a horizontal orientation, Alex Nino's tale begins with two pages of flurried action. There is little text or dialogue. including the wide opening splash. Dense jungle foliage permeates the panels, contrasting against the London cityscapes in later pages. His artwork overall is more than capable, but the layout and sequencing of the escape is especially noteworthy. Other artists in this issue include David Lloyd, Trevor Von Eeden and Rudy Nebres. This is number 1 of 2 Bold Adventures with Nino art and/or covers (not including reprints). See today's posts or more Nino or Bold Adventure issues. See also this blog's Nino checklist.
