Strange Tales v1 #145, 1966 - Exhausted from a battle in the twilight dimension, Dr. Strange finds himself under attack by a new foe called Mister Rasputin.
Steve Ditko nears the end of his run on this series, but still produces drawings of a surreal graphic quality. His geometric designs look best on the story's opening splash. This story was later reprinted in
Giant-Size Defenders #1.
Jack Kirby's cover fares better than his forgettable layouts on the Nick Fury feature. Other artists in this silver age comic include Don Heck. This is 81 of 82
Strange Tales issues by
Ditko and 74 of 74 Strange Tales issues by
Kirby.
