Sniffy the Pup #5 |
Sniffy the Pup v1 #5 (#1), 1949 - In this first issue of the series, Frank Frazetta lends his talents to two single page text stories. The first features a bullfrog in his native habitat while the second imagines an encounter between a fawn and a lion. Both are impressively detailed, the latter a bit more so (see interior page below). Despite the funny animal genre, Frazetta proves himself to be a consummate professional. Other artists in this golden age comic include Al Hubbard. This is 1 of 1 Sniffy the Pup issues by Frazetta. /// key 1st issue
