The World Around Us v1 #15 / The Illustrated Story of Prehistoric Animals, 1960 - Al Williamson draws two tales from pre-history, covering the decline of dinosaurs and the subsequent rise of mammals. Clear and informative, the artwork also shows plenty of depth and detail. Page 2 and 4 (see interior page above) are particularly good, perhaps due to their larger panel sizes. This is the first of three issues that Williamson did on this educational series. Other artists in this issue include Gray Morrow, George Evans, Reed Crandall, Sam Glanzman and Norman Nodel. This is 1 of 3 World Around Us issues by Williamson.
