Ghostly Haunts v1 #34, 1973 - Past his intriguingly colorful cover, Steve Ditko illustrates the tale of a home invasion in progress. To the robber's surprise, his elderly victim is not all that she seems. Ditko's linework is abundant, adding texture throughout many of the panels. The layout designs begin to wane toward the end, but the first two pages are composed in spellbinding fashion. This story was later reprinted in Monster Hunters #13. Other artists in this bronze age horror comic include Joe Staton, Pat Morisi, Wayne Howard and Tom Sutton. This is 13 of 26 Ghostly Haunts issues by Ditko.
