Emergency v1 #2, 1975 - In the premiere issue of this television-based series, John Byrne drew the main feature and majority of pages. Here he only contributes three illustrations for a text story toward the issue's end. Like most of his early Charlton work, there is more enthusiasm than craft in the drawings. Still, you can recognize the early stages of his distinctive style. Byrne's efforts still surpass Joe Staton's cover or Demetrio's artwork for the main feature.
