Eternals v1 #1, 1976 - Led by a mysterious guide, an archeologist and his daughter discover an ancient aztec temple with proof of outer space visitors. Soon after, the guide reveals himself as Ikaris of the Eternals. Jack Kirby introduces two previously unknown humanoid species in this new storyline, most likely influenced by the book Chariots of the Gods. The scale is larger and grander than some the artist's other bronze age works. His imaginative drawings include four full page splashes in sequence - - - - - - - - - -
