All-Star Western v2 #3 presents Outlaw and El Diablo, 1970 - Introduced in the previous issue, El Diablo's origin is told for the first time. Written by Robert Kanigher and drawn by Gray Morrow, unfortunate circumstances transform Lazarus Lane into an avenging devil. Neal Adams' cover features the hero in full, not just in the inset. His layout allows for two large titles on the left hand side. While oddly configured, the artist makes up for it with his precise, meticulous drawing. This is 2 of 4 All-Star Western v2 issues by Adams. /// key 1st origin, 1st full cover El Diablo
