Police Trap v1 #3, 1955 - Bursting onto the scene, a policeman makes short work of a criminal. Jack Kirby juxtaposes the action scene against the relative calm of another officer calling in his collar. The contrast is palpable, making the heroics that much more exciting. Note the broken shards of glass extending even far into the foreground. Other artists in this issue include Bill Draut and Art Gates.
