Foxhole #6 - Jack Kirby art & cover

Jack Kirby
Foxhole v1 #6, 1955 - Bullet casings fall like rain as a machine gunner fires a barrage into an unseen enemy. Jack Kirby's cover and two brief tales are largely adequate but pale compared to his previous issues. His story pencils are somewhat diminished by the inkers, which are not immediately recognizable (Mort Meskin? George Klein?). Still, Kirby's style and layout dominates whether depicting scenes from World War II or the Korean War. Other artists in this golden age war comic include Jo Albistur. This is 6 of 6 Foxhole issues by Kirby.
