Foxhole #6 - Jack Kirby art & cover

Jack Kirby
Foxhole v1 #6, 1955 - Bullet casings fall like rain as a machine gunner fires a barrage into an unseen enemy. Jack Kirby's cover and two brief tales are largely adequate but pale compared to his previous issues. His story pencils are somewhat diminished by the inkers, which are not immediately recognizable (Mort Meskin? George Klein?). Still, Kirby's style nad layout dominates whether depicting scenes from World War II or the Korean War. This is number 6 of 6 Foxhole issues with Kirby art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Kirby or Foxhole issues. See also this blog's Jack Kirby checklist.
