Strange Tales of the Unusual #7 - Jack Kirby art

Strange Tales of the Unusual #7
Strange Tales of the Unusual v1 #7, 1956 - Landing on Earth, an alien begin to survey the terrain and take soil samples while impervious to military weapons. Jack Kirby displays his usual inventiveness, creating a visitor with almost totemic features (see interior page below). His artwork is largely competent, pencils and inks working equally in tandem. Looking closer, I suspect this could be among the rare times Kirby inked his own work. Other artists in this golden age horror comic include Dick Ayers, Vic Carrabotta, Sol Brodsky, Bob Forgione, Jack Abel, Marie Severin and Ernie Bache. Cover by Carl Burgos. This is 1 of 1 Strange Tales of the Unusual issues by Kirby.
