Unknown Worlds of Science Fiction special #1 - Don Newton cover, Alex Nino art

Don Newton
Unknown Worlds of Science Fiction v1 special #1, 1976 - In the distant future, Donald Clayborne hires a company to help him recreate a painful event from his past. Alex Nino illustrates this tale of artificial redemption with sometimes jarring complexity. Both his scenes of advanced technologies and primeval jungles are visually rich, despite being printed in black and white. Don Newton's meticulous cover is brightly painted, almost electrified. Other artists in this issue include Rick Bryant, Michael Kaluta, Ruben Yandoc, Vicente Alcazar, Bruce Jones, John Buscema, Dick Giordano and Adrian Gonzales. This is number 1 of 1 Unknown Worlds of Science Fiction special issues with Newton art and/or covers and number 1 of 1 Unknown Worlds of Science Fiction special issues with Nino art and/or covers.
