New Gods #11, this deluxe edition also boasts nearly fifty pages of new material.
Jack Kirby delivers a long overdue conclusion to the saga. Four full page splashes and three two-page spreads punctuate key points in the story. The artist experiments with open panels, varied sequences and unusual layouts. Kirby puts forth a valiant effort on nearly every panel (see interior page below). Unfortunately, the final results are primitive, simplistic and overworked. This is 6 of 6
