Limited Collectors' Edition v1 #C-43 presents Christmas with the Super-heroes, 1975 - Reprints abound in this treasury sized DC comic, featuring Batman, Captain Marvel and the Teen Titans. Of note, however, is an unpublished Angel and the Ape story by Wally Wood. Drawn in the late 1960s, this work accompanies several Angel and the Ape issues by the artist. Unfortunately, many panels appear minimal in effort. Overall, the inking lacks some of the craft and finesse of Wood's previous efforts. Other artists in this bronze age treasury include Irv Novick, Dick Giordano and C.C. Beck. Cover by Nick Cardy. This is 1 of 1 Limited Collectors' Edition issues by Wood.
