Avengers v1 #6, 1964 - Baron Zemo enlists the Melter, Black Knight and Radioactive Man to form the Masters of Evil. With the powerful Adhesive X, they subjugate the city just as the Avengers arrive. Jack Kirby's page layouts are more varied than before, allowing more room in some cases for his dynamic pencils. One of the highlights this issue is a large panel of the Black Knight traversing the city skies (page 14 panel 1). Kirby's cover tries to fit in every character, but the convoluted layout is less than impressive.
