Secret Origins v3 #6 featuring the Golden Age Batman and Halo, 1986 - Batman's origin has been retold numerous times during the years, although this is the first by Marshall Rogers. Nearly a decade has passed since the artist's seminal run on Detective Comics. Here he tries to repeat the verve and excitement of those issues, evidenced by the inventive layouts on pages 10 and 17 (see interior page below). On the whole, though, Rogers falls short due to his stiffly rendered faces and figures. Other artists in this copper age comic include Dick Giordano. Cover by Jose Luis Garcia Lopez.
