Mysteries of Unexplored Worlds v1 #24, 1961 - After emerging from twelve days in an underground cavern, the spelunker vanishes without a trace. One of Steve Ditko's last stories for this title, he adheres almost exclusively to a six panel grid throughout. This is largely offset by his superb line quality, evident in the faces and figures of various characters. To save costs, the publisher re-uses two of Ditko's interior panels for the rather chaotic front cover. Other artists in this silver age comic include Bill Molno, Rocco Mastroserio and Vince Alascia. This is 15 of 16 Mysteries of Unexplored Worlds issues by Ditko.
