Opus book #1, 1999 - This stunning collection of works by Barry Smith includes paintings, drawings, prints, and the occasional comic book page from his early days at Marvel. The book abounds in breathtaking art, accompanied by the artist's own autobiographical comments. Most of the reproductions are pleasingly large, often displayed on full pages and across two-page spreads. A handful of Conan the Barbarian illustrations provide Smith fans with a welcome nostalgia.
