Durango Kid #8 |
Durango Kid v1 #8, 1950 - Set before the American Revolution, Dan Brand and Tipi join the British cause against the French and their indian allies. Frank Frazetta's opening scene of indian fighting is vicious and frenetic. Other panels have a looseness that sometimes sacrifice much needed detail. The final two pages are the most effective, employing less dialogue and focusing on Frazetta's terrific artwork. Other artists in this issue include Joe Certa (Durango Kid stories). This is 8 of 16 Durango Kid issues by Frazetta. /// Frazetta gallery
