Strange Tales #162 - Jim Steranko art

Strange Tales #162
Strange Tales v1 #162 featuring Nick Fury & Doctor Strange, 1967 - Equipped with Shield's newest hi-tech car, Fury enters Chinatown on the search for the Yellow Claw. During a demonstration, the car's instantaneous color changes are cleverly depicted by evenly divided split images (page 2). Like other issues, the tale features some of Jim Steranko's unique mechanical designs. Among these, the cutting edge ESP chamber (see interior page below) is prominently displayed. The artist continues to experiment with sequencing and pacing as well. Other artists in this issue include Dan Adkins. This is 12 of 18 Strange Tales issues by Steranko. /// Steranko gallery
