Coo Coo Comics #40 - Frank Frazetta art

Coo Coo Comics #40
Coo Coo Comics v1 #40, 1948Frank Frazetta provides the artwork for a handful of text stories. Featuring several funny animal characters, all three are exquisitely drawn. "The Lion and the Hyena" is perhaps the most detailed and engaging (see interior page below). The artist uses surrounding trees and foliage to nicely frame the two main characters. Like much of Frazetta's humor work, these works are much less known and appreciated. Other artists in this golden age comic include Jack Bradbury. This is 7 of 15 Coo Coo Comics by Frazetta.
