Thrilling Comics #66 |
Thrilling Comics v1 #66, 1948 - Although filled with stories of many different genres, this title often featured its jungle characters during this era.
Frank Frazetta's contribution to this issue is a small text illustration for a single page crime story. Though better than many of his peers at the time, this early work shows little of his future potential. Note that his signature appears on the lower left, near the boy's right hand. Other artists in this golden age comic include Art Saaf and Ralph Mayo. Cover by Alex Schomburg. This is 1 of 8
