Miracleman v1 #24, 1992 - Young Miracleman floats alongside a column of balloons wafting toward the title's logo. A celebratory theme pervades this colorfully painted cover by Barry Smith. The almost jewel-like palette is muted to allow the entire masthead to come to the fore. The title typography gets a bit lost on the lower right but doesn't detract from this competent effort. Neil Gaiman comes to the end of his run after taking over the series from Alan Moore. Other artists in this modern age comic include Mark Buckingham. This is 2 of 2 Miracleman issues by Smith.
