Haunted #15 |
Haunted v1 #15, 1973 - While staying in a Roman villa, a young couple becomes curious about the ancient catacombs beneath them. On the opening page,
Steve Ditko places the characters' heads over the setting, allowing us to see their faces and their surroundings at the same time. An adjoining panel features a cutaway elevation, revealing multiple levels beneath the house. These visual devices aside, the overall artwork meets expectations. Some more detailed than others, like the view of the villa from outside (see interior page below). Other artists in this bronze age comic include Jack Abel and Pat Boyette. Cover by Tom Sutton.
