Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #272
Walt Disney's Comics and Stories v1 #272, 1963 - When Donald Duck opens a barber shop, he discovers a talent for cutting hair. Nearby, a circus gorilla named Horrendo runs amok in the city. Carl Barks flexes his creativity in this tale, devising different methods and hair designs for a variety of customers. The scenes are funny as they are unconventional, a skill that the artist's peers could rarely match. This story was later reprinted in Walt Disney Comics Digest #39. Other characters featured in this issue include Gyro Gearloose, Ludwig Von Drake, Mickey Mouse and the Big Bad Wolf. Other artists in this silver age comic include Paul Murry.
