Aquaman #52 |
Aquaman v1 #52, 1970 - With this issue, the short Deadman tale cleverly converges with the main Aquaman feature.
Neal Adams opens with an unusual panel, purposely distorted to suggest inter-dimensional travel. Though slightly less impressive than his previous issue, the artist generally meets expectations. The issue's high point? Deadman's conversation with a cat-like creature on the final page. Nick Cardy's somber cover is among his finest of the period. Other artists in this bronze age comic include Jim Aparo. This is 3 of 3
