Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #266
Walt Disney's Comics and Stories v1 #266, 1962 - Applying for the rugged job of forest ranger,  Donald Duck finds more than he bargained for when counting bighorn sheep. Carl Barks does his usual fine job, revealing a love for the great outdoors in his spacious illustrations. This commentary of modern society is especially funny with Barks' stereotypically spoiled cityfolk (pages 1-2). Other characters featured in this issue include Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Big Bad Wolf and Gyro Gearloose. Other artists in this silver age comic include Paul Murry. This is 226 of 280 Walt Disney's Comics and Stories issues issues by Barks.
