Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #263 - Carl Barks art

Walt Disney's Comics and Stories v1 #263, 1962 - Duckburg hosts the World’s Fair, drawing visitors from all over the world. Donald Duck, with the help of his nephews, passes an aptitude test and secures a job there. Whether it’s selling ice cream, popcorn or cotton candy, a debacle is sure to follow. Carl Barks opens with a vista of futuristic architecture, including a towering space needle. Of all the humorous scenarios, perhaps the best is an orchestra’s performance marred by Donald’s cotton candy idea (see interior page below). Other characters featured in this issue include Chip N’ Dale, Gyro Gearloose and Mickey Mouse.
