Forbidden Worlds #1 - Al Williamson / Frank Frazetta art + 1st issue

Forbidden Worlds #1
Forbidden Worlds v1 #1, 1951 - In the first issue of this golden age horror title, a demon intends to destroy the entire world. Al Williamson's sophisticated pencils are more dimensional thanks to Frank Frazetta's inking. Their rendition emphasizes the villain's brutish and aggressive nature throughout the story. Fine lines and brushstrokes are pervasive. Although each artist has his own distinctive approach, their styles work together seamlessly. This issue also includes artwork by Paul Reinman and Emil Gershwin. Cover by Ken Bald. This is 1 of 8 Forbidden Worlds issues by Williamson and 1 of 2 Forbidden Worlds issues by Frazetta. /// key 1st issue / Williamson gallery
