Amazing Spider-Man v1 Annual #12, 1978 - As seen on this king-size annual cover,
John Byrne draws an enraged Hulk almost better than anyone (see also
Incredible Hulk annual #7). The curved horizontal path of greenskin's punch conveniently leads the eye to Spider-man. During a time when Byrne rarely inked his own pencils, this issue stands out as a nice surprise. Other artists in this bronze age comic include John Romita, Jim Mooney and Tony Mortellaro.
