Marshall Rogers |
Detective Comics v1 #479 featuring Batman, 1978 - After and initial clash with Clayface III, the Batman tracks him down (appropriately enough) to an abandoned wax museum. Even as
Marshall Rogers nears the end of his run on this title, his artwork continues to catch the eye. From the electrifying first few pages to the kinetically infused panels toward the end, the artist displays a mastery of visual storytelling. A short Hawkman tale rounds out the book. This story was later reprinted in
Shadow of the Batman #5 and the
Batman Strange Apparitions trade paperback. Other artists on this bronze age comic include Rich Buckler and John Celardo. This is 12 of 13
