Fantastic Four v1 #131, 1973 - The Human Torch and the mutant Quicksilver vie for Crystal's affections. This less than stellar Jim Steranko cover suffers from a convoluted layout with too many elements. Black Bolt and the remaining Inhumans are placed cautiously in the background, filling up negative space. Joe Sinnott's inks water down some of the details, making Steranko's pencils less recognizable. Other artists in this issue include Ross Andru. This is number 2 of 3 Fantastic Four issues with Steranko art and/or covers.
