Batman Black and White v1 #2, 1996 - In a futuristic Gotham, a young mother tells her child of a legendary hero from the past. One who fought on the side of truth and justice. Walt Simonson's art is not quite as polished as previous works, but compensates with inventive page layouts and thoughtful pacing. Frank Miller's cover is far grittier, with a noir sensibility. His style is consistent with other works from the same era. Other artists in this issue includes Richard Corben, Kent Williams and Jorge Zaffino.
