Heroic Comics v1 #30, 1945 - Alex Toth's earliest published comic book works appear in this issue. He does his first story art on "A Belgian Daniel", a far less believable tale of a young Belgian boy who dressed up as an orangutan to evade the Nazis. Toth also provides two small illustrations for a true story about an American radio operator who survives a submarine attack in WWII.
