All-American Comics v1 #26, 1941 - Over the centuries, a mysterious ruby from an ancient civilization makes its way to America. Exposed to it as a baby, John Sargent is endowed with mystic powers as an adult. Mounting the ruby on his turban, becomes the stage magician Sargon the Sorcerer. By masking his true abilities, he's able to help people without suspicion. This John B. Wentworth story was drawn by Howard Purcell.
