Superman v1 #206, 1968 - Accused of murdering a hero on another planet, a powerless Superman is dragged through a hostile crowd. A mostly symmetrical layout, Neal Adams varies the placement and gesticulations of those calling for his execution (only one woman?). The background stairs suggest either a courthouse or platform for execution. Either is relevant for the purposes of the cover. Other artists in this silver age comic include Al Plastino.
