Mysteries of Unexplored Worlds v1 #4, 1957 - In a pair of Steve Ditko stories, a mysterious room manipulates time and longevity and a glacier encasing prehistoric creatures is melted to bring them back to life. "Forbidden Room" is more boldly drawn with high contrasts, similar to Ditko's well-crafted cover. By comparison, "Valley In The Mist" is weaker in both layout and rendition. The interior page below, showing a dinosaur's emergence, is among the better panels. Other artists in this golden age science fiction comic include Rocco Mastroserio and Bill Molno. This is 2 of 18 Mysteries of Unexplored Worlds issues by Ditko.
