Wolverine v2 #3 - Al Williamson art & cover

Al Williamson
Wolverine v2 #3, 1989 - Possessed by the spirit of the Black Blade, Wolverine steals away Jessica Drew. Her friend Lindsey and the Silver Samurai plan their next moves to rescue her. Al Williamson's short stint inking on the series has mixed results. While John Buscema's boisterous style is more compatible than most, many panels cry out more detail. The cover seems to especially lack evidence of Williamson's hand. Other artists in this issue include Kevin Nowlan (gallery page).
