Danger Trail #4 - Alex Toth art

Danger Trail #4
Danger Trail v1 #4, 1951 - Stationed in remote Alaska, a reporter investigates the mysterious death of a friend. Repetitive layouts and panel sizes hinder much of the artwork. Alex Toth's drawings are less enthusiastic than previous issues. Many scenes are overcrowded with dialogue and text, hindering its visual appeal. Additionally, Bernard Sachs' inks water down the original pencils. Even Toth’s opening splash is less attractive than usual. Other artists in this golden age comic include Carmine Infantino and Joe Giella. This is 4 of 5 Danger Trail issues by Toth.
