All-Star Western v2 #5 presents Outlaw and El Diablo, 1971 - Blazing action dominates this western cover as the Outlaw fights against all odds. Unlike the two previous issues, Neal Adams works with a more traditional layout. Note how the top of the red wagon conveniently separates the typography from the illustration. The artist "boxes in" the hero for greater claustrophobic effect. Adams' artwork also employs more texture, resulting in increased depth and detail.
